Wayne Y Tokumoto's Obituary
Wayne Yoshio Tokumoto, 71, of Kahului, passed away peacefully at Islands Hospice Kahului on august 24, 2024. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, on January 24, 1953, he attended Leilehua High School and University of Hawaii at Manoa. Wayne spent a total of 43 years working between Lahaina Florist and Kahului Florist Inc. Wayne's love and faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior helped him throughout his ALS journey.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Tokumoto and daughters Leecia Tokumoto-Viela (Aaron) and Beri Ann Tokumoto Otsubo (Ryan) and three grandchildren: Connor and Harlee Viela and Tyler Otsubo. He is also survived by sisters Amy Nozawa and Janice (Brian) Watanabe and three nieces, Alaine, Jamie, and Lisa.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Kahului Union Church. Visitation at 10:00am with service to follow at 11:00am.
