Warren Terumi Nishida's Obituary
Warren T. Nishida, 93, passed away on June 25, 2023, at his residence in Kula. Warren was predeceased by his wife, Misa. He was surrounded by family, friends, his wonderful care givers and hospice personnel, his loyal War buddies from the outside islands and Maui Chapter 282, in person and in prayers. He was born on May 5, 1930 in Kula, Hawaii on the island of Maui. He is survived by one brother, Harold Kazue (wife Dorothy Nishida of Kaneohe, Oahu) along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Douglas Katsumi, Wally Katsunori and Stanley Misunori. He Warren was the youngest of five boys. He attended Kealahou school in Kula, then Maui High School in H-Poko. He served in the Army in the Forgotten war, also known as, the Korean War.
The family of Warren Nishida would like to acknowledge Hospice of Maui for the wonderful care they gave him in his time of need.
Service will be held at Maui Veteran Cemetery, followed by placing the Urn in the Niche on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
