Surrounded by Family, Beautiful Music and Hula, Walter Ray Kauilani Kahaiali‘i aka“Papa Boogie” of Napilihau, Maui, Hawaii
passed away peacefully at the Maui Memorial Medical Center on Monday, October 28, 2019. He is predeceased and reunited with his beloved
Wife, Fuesina Maria Kahaiali‘i and beloved Daughter Rosanamaria Fialupeimoana Ahiamana Kahaiali‘i Maile. He is survived by his Daughters; Raenette Kahaiali‘i (Edomwonyi), Chrissina Sulunga (Tui)
his Son; Daniel Kauvaka (Lusinita) and his Grandchildren; Walter-Ray Kahaiali‘i (Annika),Danniel Sulunga-Kahaiali‘i, Christopher
Lii Sulunga-Kahaiali‘i, Anamaria Sulunga-Kahaiali‘i, David-Ray Sulunga, David Kauvaka,Rosana Maria Kauvaka, Mariah Filomena Kauvaka, Liliaimoanamatalasi Kauvaka, Winteisa Kauvaka, Kalolo Kauvaka and Osavbie Ehigiator.
He is also survived by so many hanai family, numerous extended family and friends. Services for “Papa Boogie” will be on November 23, 2019 in Lahaina at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church-New Chapel) at 85 Ulupono St., Lahaina, Hawaii 96761. Public Viewing 8:30 - 11:30 am, Service at 12 noon, Aloha Attire. We will proceed to Puehuihueiki Cemetery (Lahaina Cemetery) at 1:30pm for the Burial. Pa‘ina for services to follow at Keka‘a Beach Park (Old Airport
Beach) from 3 pm to 6 pm. It is “Papa Boogie’s” 77th Birthday and Celebration of Life. Please join us in honoring
and celebrating the life of a beautiful soul. Oakland RAIDERS attire at beach, black and silver or black and white. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED
