Titi Mamea's Obituary
Our beloved mother, Titi FuaFaaee Mamea, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Faaee was born on July 5, 1944, in the village of Safune, Western Samoa, to Pelita Mamea and Pepe Tupai. She was the seventh of eight children.
A devoted woman of faith and family, Faaee dedicated her life to raising her six children with unconditional love, patience, and compassion. She was a humble and beautiful soul who always placed family at the center of her life. She found joy in quilting, home decorating, crocheting, preparing traditional Samoan dishes inspired by her homeland, and creating beautiful leis to celebrate her children's achievements. She especially cherished making leis for her daughters when they performed liturgical dances at St. Theresa's Church.
Faaee is survived by her children: Mele Mamea, Ofa (Lolohea) Mahe, Sela Siua, Pepe (Vince) Misi, and Kato (Sam) Kata, and was preceded in death by her son, Matalei Misi. She is also survived by her twelve beloved grandchildren: Faaee Mahe, Kaliopasi Mahe, Sarafina Mahe, Pepe Mahe, Lausi'i Mahe, Finau Mahe, Saini Kata, Popua Kata, Tevita Kata, Sophya Webb, Mikkos Webb, and Matalei Webb.
Faaee was an extraordinary woman whose patience, kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. Throughout her life, she endured many challenges with grace and resilience, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her love was a precious gift that her family will forever cherish.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will remain forever in our hearts.
