Teresita Azcueta Savella's Obituary
Teresita Azcueta Savella of Lahaina, Hawaii, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on October 10, 1943, to Anastacia and Benigno Azcueta in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. After graduating from Ilocos Norte Normal School in 1964, Teresita became a school teacher in her hometown in the Philippines until 1970, when she immigrated to Hawaii and later retired as an administrative assistant at Finance Factors on Maui in 1998. She married Clemens Savella in 1966, and together they shared 60 beautiful years. Teresita will be remembered as the most loving and sweetest person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Teresita was preceded in death by her parents, Benigno and Anastacia Azcueta; and her brothers, Jaime and Ernesto Azcueta. She is survived by her husband, Clemens; her children, Elmo Savella, Romel Savella (Eden), and Michelle Becker (Jeremiah); her nine grandchildren, Isaac Savella, Matthew Savella, Torin Savella, Wyatt Savella, Madison Becker, Asher Becker, Noah Becker, Angel Savella, and Esterlei Savella; her one great-grandchild, Elowyn Savella; and her brother, Roy Azcueta. A family viewing will be held at 4:30 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Sacred Hearts Mission Catholic Church in Kapalua. A final viewing and funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku, with burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku.
