Robert Masao Barreras Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Masao Barreras Sr. died peacefully on November 17, 2025 at the Hospice Maui Hale. He was born on February 19, 1938 in Paia, Maui.
Robert served in the Navy and worked for Kaanapali Beach Hotel and Maui Beach Hotel. He retired from the Hotel Industry and lived at Hale Mahaolu.
Robert is survived by his brothers: Primitivo Barreras and Richard (Doreen) Barreras, sisters: Lillian Barreras, Barbara Yanagida and Joyce Aylesworth, daughter: Lori (Clifford) Paet, son: Robert Barreras Jr, grand children: Chanda Nouchi, Zaffrey Paet, Macy Barreras, Krystle Paet and Brycen Barreras, great grand children: Brooklyn Paet, Jerzeey Paet, Sophie Nouchi, Eli Nouchi and Caiz Cambonga.
Robert is preceded by his daughter Donna Miraglia.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Hospice Maui for making the last month of his life comfortable and peaceful, to New Hope Kahului for sharing God’s word and God’s love with him, and to all of his family and friends who supported him throughout his life.
A celebration of life will be held on December 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Nakamura’s Mortuary Reception area. Lunch will be served.
