Ralph Halulu Purdy's Obituary
Ralph Halulu Purdy left us on January 2, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his Ohana. He was born on August 1, 1947, the youngest of his siblings and was known as “Halulu.”
He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Nancy Purdy Sr. and sister Keala Sajolan. He is survived by his two children, Renee (Travis) Polido and Jared Purdy and three grandchildren, Jamal Fernandez, Rainbow Fernandez, and Alliyanah Polido. He also leaves behind three brothers Daniel Purdy Jr., Michael Purdy Sr., Ned Purdy Sr., and one sister Mary Schmidt.
Halulu cemented the bond of brotherhood for 44 years when he retired with the Hawaii Mason Union Local 630. Underneath that hard working skin, he had the biggest heart of gold for anyone who was in need of kokua for their Ohana. Halulu was also very well known for his infectious laugh and jokes which filled the environment with much joy and laughter.
