Masakazu Horikami, 93, Lahaina, died on January 10, 2012 at Hale Makua Wailuku.Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 18 at Nakamura Mortuary; with a service at 10 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park-Gardens of Meditation. The family requests casual attire.Mr. Horikami was born on October 10, 1918 in Lahaina, Maui. He was the son of Sueguma Horikami and Kayo Sakai of Komomoto, Japan.He was a landscaper with the University of Manoa.He is survived by son, Wayne; daughter, Eunice; brothers, Kiyoguma Horikami, Tamaru Horikami, and Masayuki Horikami; sisters, Mitsue Nakamura and Harriet Wagner; and 2 grandchildren.He was also known as "Kaiser" or "Uncle Masa".
