Lillian Seiser's Obituary
Lillian Seiser, age 96, of Pukalani , passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021.
Born in Brooklyn. New York , Lillian also resided in Sedona, Arizona, where she was an active member of the community, acting in Grannies on the Rocks, delivering Meals on Wheels, and participating in community events. Always ready for an adventure, Lil enjoyed traveling with her daughter Bobbi with whom she shared a special bond.
Lillian was passionate about animals and volunteered at Paw Prints, a community thrift store where profits benefitted the Sedona humane society. She also was a proponent of education and tutored children in language arts. In her later years, she enjoyed playing Scrabble, solving crosswords, reading, attending plays and music events as well as the company and comfort of her “grand dogs”, Moki, Sammie and Zuma.
Perhaps her proudest moments were raising her 3 children, Barbara Ann aka Bobbi Carlson Echternach of Pukalani, Jeffrey Seiser of Buckeye, Arizona and Joyce Liberty, who predeceased her. She was a caring and dedicated mother who, by her example, instilled high values and morals as well as respect, compassion and tolerance for all peoples. Her loving nature and welcome smile have touched many hearts.
She is survived by her daughter Bobbi (Thomas), son Jeffrey, and grandson Keith Liberty of Mesa, Arizona. Her husband, Irving Seiser, predeceased her.
Lillian’s family wishes to thank Kula Hospital and their wonderful caring staff as well as Hospice Maui for helping her to make this transition. Na Hoaloha also offered much support.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
