Lesley Y. Miyashiro died on Sunday October 26, 2025, on Maui, Hawaii. She was born Yaeko Nakatsuka on August 1, 1926, in Hanalei on Kauai, and was married to Yonekichi Miyashiro through his death in 1996. She had three children, Curtis (Sandra), Peter (Jean) and Anne (Robert Montgomery), four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
