Kyairese K. Diego-Pula's Obituary
Kyairese K. Diego-Pula, 22, of Kahului and formerly of Hana passed away on February 25, 2023, at his residence.
Although only 22 at the time of his passing, Kyairese affected many people in his lifetime.
Kyairese, affectionately known as “Braddah” or “Hawaiian” was born on February 1, 2001, in Wailuku. He attended school at Lihikai Elementary, Maui Waena, and at Maui High School where he was a part of the wrestling and judo team. He graduated high school in 2020.
Kyairese was formerly employed at M & L Landscaping in Hana, Cruisin Maui Campers in Kahului and more recently for Uncle John Mahi making kulolo.
Kyairese was an avid fisherman and hunter and was deeply committed to his family, his friends and to his church family at the Kahului Ward of the LDS church.
Kyairese leaves behind his grandmother, Ruby Diego Pula of Kahului, grandfather Victor Pula Sr of California, mother Adrienne Pula-Branch of Ohio, Uncle Victor Pula Jr (Erna) of Kahului, siblings Zaedyn, Tyler and Lahela Branch and numerous cousins, uncles and aunties.
A celebration of life will be held on March 6 at the Maui Lani Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1300 Maui Lani Pkwy). The viewing will be held from 10:30am-12:30pm with a service at 12:30pm. The burial will follow at 2pm at Maui Memorial Park on Waiale Drive. Luncheon will be held after burial in the church hall.
Family request aloha or casual attire. Flowers and lei are welcomed.
