Kathryn Young, beloved mother, grandmother, and force of nature, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026. Known for her quick wit, fierce spirit, and a laugh that made any room better, Kathryn lived with curiosity, warmth, and a pair of gardening gloves never far from reach.
Her garden was an extension of who she was — vibrant, carefully tended, and full of surprising beauty. She had a dreamer’s heart, always captivated by the idea of far-off places and the stories that came back from them.
Above all, Kathryn showed up for the people she loved. She is survived by her three children and three grandchildren, who were the great joy of her life.
