Jubilee Holani Moikeha Jr's Obituary
Jubilee Holani “Fatman” Moikeha, 72 of Wailuku, passed away on July 27, 2023, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Wailuku, Maui on May 2, 1951, and preceded by his parents Jubilee Holani Moikeha Sr., and Florence Tai Son Lee Moikeha
Holani was a very simple man with so much love for his family and everyone. A man with a lot of knowledge. He loved and spoke proudly of his culture, always helping others & absolutely loved his people.
He was predeceased by his brother, Kalei Lee Moikeha. Survived by his sons,
J.H. Pomaika'iokalani (Deva Smith-Gunter) Moikeha 3rd and La'akea Andrew Ah Fong Moikeha, Hanai daughter Alexandria “Turtle” Licano; brother Kauokalani Rence Moikeha and Hanai sister: Jovena (Jason) DeFrancia, his 6 grandchildren: Brooke, Pearl, LJ, Juju, Shiloh and Archie and numerous nieces and nephews.
He loved reading books, listening to Hawaiian music, playing poker and enjoyed collecting Puka shells and watching YouTube.
A remembrance gathering will be held at his sister Jovena’s residence in Wailuku on Sept 9th, 2023 at 10am. Please contact Sister for more info.
