Joseph "Joey" Donaldson's Obituary
Joseph "Joey" Donaldson, age 47, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, passed away unexpectedly October 30, 2025.
He was a brilliant man who knew no obstacles. From his passion for driving a wrecker, to his gift for fixing and building just about anything, to carrying on Mama-Cita’s legacy with her green thumb — where he became an impressive gardener himself — Joey approached everything he did with heart and determination. But his most cherished and proudest accomplishments were his four beautiful children, whom he loved beyond measure.
Joey is preceded in death by his Grandmother Lillian "Mama-Cita" Donaldson, Grandfather Raymond Donaldson, and Uncle William "Billy-Bob" Donaldson.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond "Jimmy" Donaldson, Cheri Kalkowsky, Michelle "Annette" McFarland, and Bonnie Donaldson. Siblings, Wendy Popps, Sabrina Popps, Ashley Donaldson, Lindsey Little, James Kalkowsky, and Joshua Kalkowsky. Also survived by Karen Donaldson mother of his children, children Heaven Donaldson, Haley Donaldson, Joseph "JoJo" Donaldson, Jupiter Donaldson, Fiancée Jen Pettus, AJ Pettus, aunts, 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will miss him dearly.
Celebration of life will be held in Texas at a later date and time.
