Joseph Lomolho Aricayos' Obituary
Joseph “Pancho” Lomolho Aricayos, 71, of Kihei, passed away peacefully
at his residence on Dec. 1, 2021.
Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22 at King’s Cathedral Maui,
Kahului, with a service at 10 a.m. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Maui Veterans
Cemetery, Makawao.
Mr. Aricayos was born Sept. 18, 1950, in Wahiawa, Oahu. He grew up on
Maui in Puukolii camp, Lahaina, a graduate of Lahainaluna High School, a
Vietnam War veteran, and a retired Landscaper from the Four Seasons
Resort, Wailea.
He is survived by his wife, Carolee “Aunty Doll” Aricayos, stepdaughter
Tyrell Pohaikealoha Dias, son Iokepa (Tamara) Cabanilla-Aricayos, and son
Isaia (Krista) Aricayos. He has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
His siblings, the late Augustine (Josephine) Aricayos of Oahu, Severino Jr
(Earl) Aricayos of Texas, Rogelio (Emily) Aricayos of Wailuku, Annette (Jeff)
Pearson of Wailuku, Gloria Aricayos of Kahului, Rodney Aricayos of Texas,
and Andrew Aricayos of Hawaii island. His special Ohana, Ed & Becky Dille
of Kihei, Sheri “Haiku” Shults of Kihei, Alexander Hall of Waikapu, and the
late Pippi (Morio) Harada of Japan.
