Joan Jahrmarkt Bullington's Obituary
Joan passed peacefully at home on Maui surrounded by family. She lived her life directed by the power of love. Joan was born in Beverly Hills, California; her mother an artist, her father an actor, and step father, a renowned sports announcer. She was full of adventure and spontaneity…always trusting in life’s cosmic path. Joan traveled the world, living in multiple countries & cities throughout the U.S., Europe, Morocco, Afghanistan, San Francisco, Mexico, New Mexico, and finally to the Hawaiian islands, the Big Island, Kauai & Maui. She often spoke of all the extraordinary friends she met along the way, from Buddhist monks to famous artists, musicians, actors, dancers, writers & poets. She experienced
both powerful love and loss, but remained positive and confident in what the future had in store. Her children held the most importance in her life; she loved each and every one of them completely and unconditionally. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her immense joy as she witnessed her influence and love in each; such satisfaction and sense of accomplishment to see life’s continuation and generations growing. As well as her beautiful family, Joan was blessed with an incredible list of friends that she deeply cherished. She will continue to live in all who knew and loves her, as we all honor & remember her vibrant, fun-loving, joyous, dancing, smiling soul. She will be incredibly missed, but is watching over us, giving us guidance and surrounding us with her love…
forever & always…
