Francis Bedoya's Obituary
Francis Bedoya, 92 of Lahaina, Maui passed away on May 26, 2020 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born to Macario and Maximina Bedoya on June 4, 1927 in Lahaina. He attended King Kamehameha 3rd school and completed Lahainaluna High in 1946, including pre-advocational in Carpentry, Machine shop and Auto shop. He worked as a gasoline and diesel mechanic for Pioneer Sugar Company for many years. Served in the U.S. Army in Schofield Barracks Oahu. Francis retired after 20 years from Royal Lahaina Resort in the Maintenance Department in 1992.
Francis is survived by his companion, Caridad Maielua for 50 years; siblings Mary Booker, Ben Bedoya, Dora (Doreen) Watanabe; son, Galen Hashimura; hanai
sons, Edwin Maielua (Felisa), Ronald Maielua (Brenda), Thomas Maielua; grandsons, Jordon Martin, Jonathan Hashimura (daughter Mila), Kelekona Maielua (Theresa Marzan) (children Tayden, Teani, Kayson & Ailey), with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Predeceased by parents, Macario and Maximina Bedoya; daughters, Annette Martin, Sari Chiemi Bedoya; sisters, Meding (Isedoro) Bellezza of the Philippines, Lucia Bedoya, Candalara Bedoya; brothers, Vincent Bedoya, Joseph Bedoya (Beatrice), Pete Bedoya, Sergio Bedoya; brother in law Robert Watanabe.
