Faalata Logotala Jr's Obituary
Fa‘alata Logotala Jr, 50, of Pukalani, Maui passed away on December 24th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
“Junior” was born on January 14th, 1975, in Honolulu, O‘ahu, to Fa‘alata Logotala Sr and Eleni Samatua Vaolo. Junior attended the August Ahrens Elementary School in Waipahu followed by Waipahu Intermediate. He then moved to American Samoa. While living in ‘Ili‘ili, he attended Nu‘uuli Vocational Technical High School. Upon graduating, he moved to Maui where he met the love of his life, wife Michelle Puli.
Together, Junior and Michelle lived in Pukalani where they raised their four beautiful children: Curtis, Charity, Jonah, and Mayson. Junior held various jobs during his life but the most important was his involvement and commitment to his church, Ka ‘Ekalesia o Kupaianaha.
Junior loved the Lord and served God through his church. He was an appointed deacon for 18 years. For the last 15 years, he held the position of Sergent of Arms. Junior also led the men’s group as President in the past two terms.
Preceding Junior in death are parents, Fa‘alata and Eleni; stepfather, Olotele Sr; brother, Olotele Jr; sisters, Leiloa and Shantel; nephews, Chavis and Micah; and niece, Ariana.
Remaining to cherish Junior’s memory are spouse, Michelle; children, Curtis (Mailani), Charity (John), Jonah (Shasti), and Mayson; grandchildren, Kamauliola and Melela‘i, Selah, and Aveiah-Rose; brothers, Alvin (Sally) and Junior; sister, Helen (Jeffrey); nephews and nieces, Matthew (Kūpono), Fa‘amāne‘ene‘e (Taulima), Kevin, Eleni and Peniamina; and hānai keiki, Laylah Apolo and Hezekiah Uitalia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28,2026 from 9:00 - 12:00 at Nakamura's Mortuary then lunch to follow at Ekalesia O Kupaianaha Church, 357 Waiale Rd Wailuku
