Gushiken, Dolly's Obituary
Dolly Gushiken, 95, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026. She was born on January 21, 1931 in Honolulu. She moved to Wailuku after marrying Joseph and raised her five children.
She was an active member of Kahului Union Church, volunteering at the church’s preschool and office, and participating in their ukulele group. She also loved vacationing in Las Vegas and fishing.
Dolly is pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph and her daughter, Stella (Glenn) Abe. She is survived by her children, Olivia Lee of Honolulu, Annette (Kenneth, dec.) Tanaka and Jan Gushiken of Wailuku, Jon (Joan) Gushiken of Kahului, grandchildren, Liane Abe, Travis (Jennifer) Abe, Jennifer Okumura and Jeremy (Shane) Lee, and sister, Betty (George, dec.)

The family wishes to thank Hospice Maui for their loving and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers or koden, donations can be made to Hospice Maui.
Private services were held in June.
