Constancia A. Pinera, a beacon of love, kindness, and grace, passed away peacefully on 10 October 2023 with her family by her side. She left this world, leaving a void that can never be filled. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion, resilience, and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of others.
Born on January 5, 1952 to Prudencio Vergara Acosta and Inosencia Acosta in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Connie entered this world with a heart full of love. Throughout her life, she shared that love with everyone she met, touching the lives of countless individuals.
Connie was a devoted spouse to Jeoffrey Pinera, a loving parent to Alexander Mariano, a grandparent to Stephanie Mariano, Safina Mariano and Alexander Mariano Jr., and a great grandmother to Itachi Mariano. Her siblings include Luz (Irenio) Dumlao, Ernesto (Rowena) Acosta, Johnny (Bernadette) Acosta, Lilybeth (Dino) Yasana, and many nieces and nephews. Family was at the center of her universe, and she cherished every moment spent with loved ones. Her home was a haven of warmth and laughter, where memories were created and treasured.
Connie worked for Sheraton Maui Hotel, Maui Coast Hotel, Four Season Hotel and Grand Wailea Resorts Hotel & Spa all in housekeeping departments and brought boundless dedication and enthusiasm to her work. Her colleagues respected her for her unwavering commitment and ability to inspire those around her.
Her enduring faith and spiritual beliefs provided her with strength and comfort throughout her life's journey. Connie was a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing her, showing us the importance of faith, resilience, and the enduring power of the human spirit. Though Connie has left this earthly plane, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering support will continue to guide and inspire us.
