Clement Tinga Orquia's Obituary
Clement Orquia, age 88, of Kahului, Maui passed away peacefully at Hospice. Maui Hale on April 16, 2026, surrounded by the family he so deeply loved.
Born on March 12, 1938, in Taguig, Manila, Philippines to Mamerto and Angelica (Tinga) Orquia. He lived a life of integrity, compassion, and humility. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and wisdom, leaving behind a profound impact on his family and friends.
On March 25, 1961, Clement married the love of his life, Carmen. Together they built a beautiful life and raised six children: Mary J (Cesar), Mary (Dru), Justine (Gregg), Milly, Roderick (Shana) and Rainier (Sherry Ann). Clement’s greatest joy was his family, which expanded to include fourteen beloved grandchildren and eighteen treasured great grandchildren.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Clement always placed the needs of others before his own. His unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around him.
He lived a life of simplicity, finding joy in the little things and cherishing the moments spent with loved ones. Whether he was telling captivating stories of his youth or offering sage advice, he had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard. Clement’s legacy is one of love, generosity, faith and connection. He leaves behind a family bound by his example, a community better for having known him and countless lives touched by his kindness.
Though Clement may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact he has made on our lives will forever remain. May he rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

to the doctors and nurses at Maui Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Mary Kingma, Kaiser Permanente and to the wonderful care team at Hospice Maui Hale for making the last two weeks of his life comfortable and peaceful.
Services will be held at Christ the King Church on Friday, May 15, 2026: Public viewing 6:00 p.m., Prayer Service 7:00 p.m. Additional services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026: Public viewing 9:00 a.m., Mass 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at The Maui View Park at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served at Christ the King Hall after the burial.
