Chiyo "Chiyoko" Ohashi, 94, of Wailuku, HI, died on May 18, 2011 in Kihei, HI.Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wed, May 25 at Wailuku Door of Faith Church; with a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park. The family requests aloha attire.Mrs. Ohashi was born on Feb. 2, 1917 in Kaheka, HI. She was the daughter of Kikuyo and Misao Yamaguchi.She was a clerk with Nashiwa Bakery.She was predeceased by her husband, Natsuo Ohashi on Mar. 8, 2009She is survived by sons, Marvin (Veronica) Ohashi, Gary Ohashi, Cullen (Medora) Ohashi; brothers, Toru Yamaguchi, Minoru Yamaguchi, Robert "Hiro" Yamaguchi; sister, Betty Shizue Tomikoshi; grandchildren, Stacee Yoshimoto, Dana Kuoha, Joshua Ohashi, Allyson Wiseman; and 4 great grandchildren.Totan, as she was affectionately called by her church family, loved to sew and cook.
