I was extremely saddened to learn of the death of your father, Alfred. I only found out today of his passing in June. I knew Al when he was employed by DLNR and I was his business agent at UPW in 1990. I would see him at the union hall periodically and the very last time I spoke to him was this past December and at the time his main concern was his mother and her failing health. If he was also in failing health or not doing well, he never spoke about it, in fact he was in really good spirits. I will remember him as a real gentleman and a dear friend who made me laugh. I truly thought he would be around for a long time.
May you find comfort and love in your family and friends. In you, his memory will live on.
