Joan was a light in my life for many years. Kindness and generosity flowed from her unbounded. We communed by email right up to just before her passing. I sent her one of the wooden bowls I make about the time she moved to Hawaii and she said she always kept it near her. One day I stopped hearing from her and no message I sent got a response. Only today did I find that she has gone on ahead to the glory of Nirvana. All who knew her were touched by her glowing spirit.
