Our pledge

Our Story
We've learned a lot about caring for families over the years. We realize that we aren't just caring for a loved one, but the entire family. People come to us during their most difficult times, and we respond with kindness, understanding and expertise. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home as we work with them to create a memorable service in honor of a beautiful life.
The first modern memorial park on Maui
Maui Memorial Park opened in 1964. In 1969 the park became the first truly modern memorial park on Maui, comparable with or even surpassing in beauty many of the finest memorial parks in the country.
An everlasting garden sanctuary
The Park's location - on a gentle slope facing the majestic West Maui Mountains and the historic Iao Valley - is one of tranquility and inspiration. Dignified architecture, religious memorials of all faiths, and over 17 acres of tenderly cared-for lawns enhance the beauty of the Park.
One-stop convenience
Maui Memorial Park in association with Nakamura Mortuary simplify the funeral and burial process enabling families to make all their arrangements at one convenient location. We assist you in creating a uniquely personal service, which is more than just a funeral, cremation or burial arrangement: one that will represent a Celebration of a Life Lived.
